Cravings for sweets, more excited "Bloated stomach’, shortness of breath or tachycardia – these are just a few signs that can indicate an excessive infestation of the body with fungi. The diffuse symptoms and a lack of information on how to deal with fungal diseases mean that many complaints are not recognized as a result of fungal infections. But as long as the fungi are not eliminated as the source of the disease, the symptoms will always return. The only remedies are medicines and natural remedies and an anti-fungal diet that eliminate the fungus by depriving it of its nutritional basis - primarily sugar.
In addition to countless bacteria, the human body is also home to fungi, which settle primarily in the intestinal area, but also on the skin and in the respiratory tract. Fungi are parasites - they use the nutrients that the human organism makes available to them. Sugar is the most important source of energy. It favors the mass proliferation of fungi, which takes place rapidly. Once the fungus has spread in the human organism, it damages it in two ways: On the one hand, fungi form toxins, so-called toxic substances, as part of their metabolic process mycotoxins. One of these "fungal toxins" is alcohol, which is produced as a fermentation product of carbohydrates in the intestine and then enters the bloodstream. In this way, it is possible for people to have greatly increased liver values even though they consume little or no alcohol.
On the other hand, fungi remove important substances from the digested food even before the human organism can digest them. The resulting lack of nutrients also leads to a long-term here weakening of the immune system.
In the case of a fungal disease, a visit to a doctor or naturopath and the administration of medication or natural remedies is essential! If the fungi are simply deprived of their food base through a diet, they produce more toxins and can get through the intestinal wall into the blood vessels in search of food. Treatment is then much more complicated.

Medicines / natural remedies and diet - inextricably linked in the fight against fungi
Fungi in the body are identified using stool, urine or blood samples. If there is a fungal disease, the treating doctor/alternative practitioner prescribes appropriate medication/natural remedies in the form of tablets, capsules, gel or tinctures that attack the fungus in the gastrointestinal tract, the oral mucous membranes, etc. These medicines or natural remedies can only work if the fungi are deprived of their basis for reproduction at the same time. The main principles of the antifungal diet are:
- Sugary foods are strictly taboo! This regulation applies not only to white or brown granulated sugar that is customary in households, but also to dextrose, malt and fructose. More products than you think contain sugar, so check the list of ingredients when you shop.

- Eat lots of vegetables and unsweetened dairy products like yogurt. The so-called lactobacteria contained in the yoghurt help the intestine in its regeneration process.
These dietary rules are essential during the anti-fungal regimen. However, a high-fiber diet and a reduction in sweets is also recommended beyond a period of treatment. This relieves the organism, strengthens the immune system and prevents diseases. In addition, therapies from Ayurveda medicine and traditional Chinese medicine offer far-reaching possibilities to get rid of the fungus in the body.
