Olive Tree Leaf Extract
We extract the ingredient "oleuropein (oleuropeoside)" and the natural phenol "chlorophyll" from the olive tree leaf. The positive influencing factors of the olive tree leaf extract have been proven by numerous studies. Olive tree leaf extract helps protect blood lipids from oxidative stress and normalizes blood pressure
The active substance oleuropeoside is a choline-like substance that is now used for arterial high blood pressure, blood pressure fluctuations, palpitations and high blood fat levels (cholesterol and triglycerides). However, the leaves are also rich in cobalt and manganese, which may help lower blood pressure. Oleuropein is also a powerful antioxidant that has powerful anti-inflammatory properties and helps boost the immune system.
In connection with the “chlorophyll” that is also abundant in the leaves, i.e. the green pigment, olive tree leaves can also help with arteriosclerosis. Furthermore, the iodine contained in the leaves promotes the activity of the thyroid gland. The thyroid, in turn, stimulates the metabolism and the dynamics of the cardiovascular system. At the same time, olive tree leaves can have a draining effect, which is why their extract is also used for the gentle treatment of water retention (edema).
With the help of L-carnitine, long-chain activated fatty acids are transported into the mitochondria, i.e. the power plants of the cell. There the fatty acids are burned and thus provide energy for the cell. L-carnetine is the means of transport in fat metabolism and is therefore an essential partner in the regulation of triglycerides and cholesterol. In addition, L-carnetine counteracts "oxidative stress", an important reaction in chronic diseases such as diabetes and hyperlipidemia. L-carnetine contributes to a normal metabolism.
Choline and inositol are B vitamins. Both are involved in the breakdown of fats and cholesterol in the body. Choline utilization in the body depends on vitamin B12, folic acid and the amino acid L-carnitine, which are also ingredients of OlivoSan. Choline appears to emulsify cholesterol so it doesn't stick to the walls of the arteries and in the gallbladder. It supports the work of the liver, helping it to remove toxins and medicines from the body. Choline contributes to normal homocysteine metabolism and the maintenance of normal liver function.
Folic acid (BXNUMX)
is water soluble and belongs to the vitamin B complex. In addition, folic acid in combination with vitamin B12 very effectively lowers the homocysteine level, which has a positive effect on the regulation of blood pressure. After taking OlivoSan®, due to the olive tree leaf extract, in very rare cases there may be stronger reactions on the part of the body, which should NOT be confused with the so-called side effects. This is referred to as the "Herxheimer-Jarisch reaction". This means: If pathogens have multiplied in the organism and are then suddenly killed by an antidote, such as olive tree leaf extract, the release of harmful toxins and metabolic products of the pathogens can lead to the following reactions: fatigue, headaches, fever and diarrhea . If these reactions occur, the administration of OlivoSan® should be stopped until the symptoms have passed. After that, you can start creeping back in with a lower dosage. It is important to drink a lot during this time so that the toxins can be excreted properly.
